Music Question of the Week.

Here's a music related question of the week. Was chatting with the Vegetarian Girl when this came up.

How many singers have had more successful solo careers after they broke up/off from their band?

I could think of 6.

1. Sting (The Police)

2. Phil Collins (Genesis)

3. Robbie Williams (Take That)

4. Ricky Martin (Menudo)

5. Cher (Sonny and Cher)

6. George Michael (Wham!)

Any other contributions? I'm expecting answers from Kobacabana, do not disappoint. Haha...

Wei: Yeah, nice, agree with 2 of them. Timberland sure had a better solo career than N'Sync and Beyonce is fairing better alone than Destiny's Child.

Not too sure about Diana Ross. Were the Supremes better or Diana Ross better? Hmmm..

As for Lennon, I think the Beatles were definitely better than Lennon's 'solo' career, Yoko Ono and all.

Ozzy osbourne had a solo career? or was it a reality tv career? Hmmm...

Haha, regarding Mickey Mouse Club and Britney. I would say Mickey Mouse Club was more successful than Britney. There are more kids supporting the Mickey Mouse Club than there are pedophiles supporting a crap singer.

And yes, how could I have forgotten Wacko Jacko. Damn. I'm so ashamed of myself.

Hmmm... Paul Simon? Think Simon and Garfunkel was better right? Mrs Fartos Smellios of the house will agree with that.

Not so sure about Boyzone and Ronan Keating but Lionel Ritchie definitely have a better solo career than the band he was in. I didn't even know he was from the Commodores

As for Posh Spice and the Spice Girls, wonder why I didn't comment on that at all, guess my eyes filter out mediocrity but that doesn't explain how I saw Britney Shite.

By the way everyone, thegreatsze is my younger bro. He just found my blog recently. O_o

What's wrong with moi choice of posh? The question was which singer had a more successful career wat.. She married goldenballs and i believe she's more successful than when she's with da girls.
Besides, i'm not so sure abt keatin. i thought boyzone was hotter?
